Being a police officer is an exceptional profession and differs greatly from working in the private or industrial sector.

As a diversified service provider, the National Police offers interesting and varied work.

 

Requirements

Are you interested in a career with the National Police?

The requirements profile includes the following criteria:

  • Completed vocational training or Matura and professional experience
  • Impeccable reputation
  • Mental maturity and resilience
  • Communication and social skills
  • Physical fitness
  • Willingness to work irregular hours (nights, weekends)
  • Generally between 20 and 35 years of age
  • Driving license Cat. B
  • Liechtenstein citizenship

 

Working and professional conditions

The general conditions of employment and working hours correspond to those of the national administration. Police work requires regular night, weekend and on-call duty.
