Riot police
The riot police is a supporting force of the National Police, which carries out missions on a part-time basis. The members of the riot police can be called upon to support all tasks of the National Police.
Riot police officers are deployed in the following areas:
- Early, late and night duty
- Prisoner transportation
- Public order and security services
- Parliamentary sessions
- Technical vehicle checks
- Traffic regulations
- etc.
Requirements profile and application
You can apply to become a riot police officer in response to a job advertisement from the National Police. The requirements are
- Liechtenstein citizenship
- 20-35 years of age
- Completed vocational training and several years of professional experience
- Driving license Cat. B
- Social competence
- Physical fitness
- Willingness to work irregular hours (nights, weekends)
- Mental maturity and resilience
- Impeccable reputation
In addition to the usual application documents, an extract from the criminal and seizure register is required.
